Start Cyber Security With Zero Background
Everyone in security started somewhere, and almost nobody started knowing what a port or a protocol was. This course is that somewhere. It is written for people with no IT background at all — we explain how a computer talks to a website before we ever mention an attack.
By the end you will understand how systems work, how attackers abuse them, and how to defend yourself and others — and you will have set up your own safe lab with the same free tools professionals use. It is the perfect foundation before the Zero to Hero Ethical Hacking Course.
Skills You Leave With
- Understand how computers, networks and the internet actually work.
- Speak the language of security — the CIA triad, threats, vulnerabilities and risk.
- Recognise phishing, malware and social engineering before they catch you.
- Lock down your own accounts, devices and home network properly.
- Set up a safe virtual lab and take your first steps with real tools.
- Know the career paths in cyber security and how to reach them.
- Read a network diagram and explain how data actually moves across it.
- Harden Windows and Linux to a standard a real auditor would accept.
- Spot phishing, social engineering and scam infrastructure with confidence.
- Build and reset a safe, isolated home lab whenever you want to practise.
